About the role

The Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a full‑time academic ophthalmologist specializing in Pediatrics. The position involves a robust clinical practice combined with academic duties, including didactic and clinical teaching of medical students and residents, as well as opportunities to conduct clinical research supported by an institutional trials team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology clinical care.
• Perform surgical activities at the Huntington campus facility and the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital on the Cabell Huntington Hospital campus.
• Teach medical students and residents through both didactic sessions and clinical supervision.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives with support from an institutional trials team.
