Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical pediatric neuroradiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Must be ABR board-certified or ABR eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and have completed a formal fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiology or equivalent training or experience. Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or demonstrated equivalent experience is considered a plus. Candidates should be Radiologists or Neuroradiologists with added qualifications in Pediatric Neuroradiology.

Teaching

  • Teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
  • Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties
  • Teaching of medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
  • Preparing learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review

Clinical

  • Clinical coverage in the areas of Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), MEG (optional)
  • Coverage at the Specialty Centers when necessary
  • In house coverage on evenings, nights and weekends
