Pediatric Neuroradiologist at CHOP – Academic Clinician - Senior Rank

About the role

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical pediatric neuroradiology.

Responsibilities

• Abruptly diagnose and treat pediatric patients with neurological disorders using advanced imaging techniques such as CT, MRI, MEG (optional).
• Teach residents and fellows during readouts and conferences and participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties.
• Prepare learning materials and lectures, teaching posters and presentations for national review.
• Provide in-house coverage on evenings, nights, and weekends, including clinical coverage in CT, MRI, MEG (optional), and specialty centers as needed.

Requirements

• An M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
• American Board of Radiology (ABR) board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of a formal fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiology or demonstration of equivalent training or experience.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or equivalent experience is considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be Radiologists or Neuroradiologists with added qualifications in Pediatric Neuroradiology.
• Mid-career applicants with an established record and 5 or more years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
