Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of clinical pediatric neuroradiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Must be ABR board-certified or ABR eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Completion of a formal fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiology or demonstration of equivalent training or experience is required. Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology or equivalent experience is considered a plus. Candidates should be Radiologists or Neuroradiologist with added qualifications in Pediatric Neuroradiology. Mid-career applicants with an established record and 5 or more years of experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Teaching
- Teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
- Participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical subspecialties
- Teaching medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
- Preparing learning materials and lectures
- Teaching posters and presentations for national review
Clinical Responsibilities
- Clinical coverage in the areas of Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), MEG (optional)
- Coverage at the Specialty Centers when necessary
- In house coverage on evenings, nights and weekends
