Pediatric Neuropsychologist Faculty Position – Specialization in Neurology and Epilepsy Preferred

About the role

The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital is seeking a clinician-educator neuropsychology faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

Responsibilities

• Work in partnership with subspecialty medical teams to serve pediatric patients treated for a range of chronic and acute medical conditions.
• Provide targeted and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation, consultation, and limited inpatient evaluation.
• Teach and supervise neuropsychology post-doctoral fellows within the APPCN-member fellowship program and interns in the APA-accredited internship program.
• Contribute to the academic mission of the College through independent and collaborative research/scholarship opportunities.

Requirements

• A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from an APA or CPA approved program.
• Completed an APA-accredited psychology internship.
• Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology that complies with the training guidelines of APA Division 40.
• Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas.
• ABCN board certification or ABCN board eligibility.
