About the role
The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital seeks a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Neurologist Epileptologist to join their multidisciplinary team. As a state-designated acute care children’s hospital, they offer a full-range of pediatric specialized healthcare services including a dedicated 24-hour inpatient epilepsy unit for video EEG monitoring. The Division of Pediatric Neurology provides comprehensive care for children with a wide range of neurological and developmental disorders, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, brain tumors, and autism. They also manage conditions like migraine headaches, muscle and nerve disorders, and sleep disorders.

What We Offer
Opportunity: Full Time position, seeing patients Monday-Friday, with flexible on-call schedule and pediatric call center assistance
Diverse Patient Population: Treat patients from birth through 18 years of age with a wide range of neurological and developmental disorders, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, brain tumors, and autism
Balanced Workload: A typical day involves seeing 10 patients, comprising both new and follow-up appointments
Support Staff: Specialty RNs, social worker, technical and administrative staff, including certified interpreters

Requirements
MD or DO New Jersey licensed or eligible for licensure
DEA and New Jersey CDS licensed or eligible for licensure
Completed residency in Pediatric Neurology
Fellowship training in Epileptology or Clinical Neurophysiology with a focus on epilepsy
Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Neurology
Board certified or eligible in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology
Pay
Full-time compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from $175,000 - $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
