Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist
About the role
Nemours Children's Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The successful candidate will have both excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as relevant clinical expertise in general neurology and epilepsy.
Responsibilities
- Serve as attending physician during designated weeks and participate in on-call coverage as part of the service team
- Conduct regular general neurology clinics
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students with emphasis on your specialty area
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities
Qualifications
- MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program and an Epilepsy Fellowship Program
- Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology and Board Eligibility/ Certification in Epilepsy
- Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware
- An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor
