Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist

About the role

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The successful candidate will serve as an attending physician, participate in on-call coverage, conduct clinics, teach and mentor residents and medical students, and engage in quality improvement initiatives and research.

Responsibilities

• Serve as attending physician during designated weeks and participate in on-call coverage as part of the service team
• Conduct regular general neurology clinics
• Teach and mentor residents and medical students with emphasis on your specialty area
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to research activities

Qualifications

• MD, DO or equivalent clinical doctoral degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program and an Epilepsy Fellowship Program
• Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology and Board Eligibility/ Certification in Epilepsy
• Eligibility to obtain valid DEA and Medical licensure in the state of Delaware
• An academic record commensurate with appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor
