Role Purpose
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Supervisor Experience: Not required
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), R.T.(R), CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: Less than 2 years preferred
- Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy
Pediatric experience not required! Will cross-train in MRI (if R.T.(R) registered).
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
- Call rotation as needed
- Minimal holiday rotation
Pay
Sign-on bonus: $5,000 (for eligible applicants)
