Pediatric Intensivist

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and very experienced Pediatric Intensivist Team.

Responsibilities

• 24 hour shifts, 8 hours of it in-house
• 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service
• Practice setting: Inpatient Level III NICU/PICU
• 6 PICU beds
• 16 Pediatric beds
• 30 Pediatric Nursery beds
• 24/7 Neonatology Service
• NICU 30 beds with 12 swing beds
• Pediatric Hospitalist support
• Pediatric ERAccess to several Pediatric sub-specialists
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

$190,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
