Pediatric Intensivist- NYU Langone Health
NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Division of Critical Care within the Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible pediatric intensivist for a faculty position at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone Health.
About the role
This individual will join a group of 19 intensivists and 6 advanced care providers to provide coverage in a 20-bed critical care unit with capacity for extracorporeal life support and renal replacement therapies. The division also covers the Bellevue Hospital Center PICU, a 7-bed unit supporting a Level 2 trauma center and multiple medical and surgical specialties, staffed by 10 advanced care providers.
A fellowship program established in 2021 currently trains one fellow per year. The team collaborates with respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nursing, and medical and surgical subspecialists to deliver family-centered care across a broad range of patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care in both the Hassenfeld and Bellevue PICUs
- Teach fellows, medical students, and pediatric residents
- Participate in hospital-related administrative, research, and/or quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
- Outstanding clinical skills
- Commitment to fellow, resident, and medical student education
- Commitment to scholarly activities

Pay
Salary range: $260,000–$280,000 for full-time employment (excludes incentive compensation or benefits). Actual salary may vary based on experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
