About the role
The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with infectious diseases.
- Provide clinical care at area hospitals such as Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital, and others as assigned.
- Provide outpatient clinical care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice plan clinic(s).
- Participate on hospital, departmental, and university committees.
- Engage in pediatric outreach activities/advocacy.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- State board eligible/certified.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and successfully credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals.
