About the role

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings to patients with infectious diseases.
  • Provide clinical care at area hospitals such as Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital, and others as assigned.
  • Provide outpatient clinical care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice plan clinic(s).
  • Participate on hospital, departmental, and university committees.
  • Engage in pediatric outreach activities/advocacy.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • State board eligible/certified.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, malpractice insurance, and successfully credentialed by affiliated teaching hospitals.
