About the Role

Champion and direct workflows across high-impact specialty areas, including the Pediatric ICU (PICU) and ECMO at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX.

• Shape the future of patient care by developing visionary departmental goals and overseeing comprehensive clinical activities, from innovative care plans to top-tier service delivery.
• Cultivate a high-performing culture by leading the hiring, training, mentorship, and professional growth of a dedicated nursing team.
• Collaborate directly with physicians and executive leadership to streamline operations, manage budgets efficiently, and ensure seamless resource utilization.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing (required prior to hire).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing (required).
• Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience (preferred).
• 5 years of nursing experience (required); 10 years (preferred).
• 2 years of leadership or management experience (required); 5 years (preferred).

• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
