About the role
The Director Nursing ICU for St. Bernardine Medical Center oversees Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Dialysis services. Key responsibilities include directing operations, working with senior leadership, and advising on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Directs the operations of critical care services
- Works with senior leadership on key initiatives
- Communicates organization’s goals to staff
- Advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators on patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education and experience
- Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (MSN/MBA/MHA) preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience
- Registered Nursing License (RN) in CA required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Pay
The posted compensation range of $72.88 - $108.42 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
