About the Role
Manages nursing services and staff within a department, ensuring quality care and compliance with policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor programs for safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing care for patients and families.
- Ensure consistent application of nursing policies and standards organization-wide.
- Monitor patient outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care.
- Oversee team performance, identify staff training and development needs.
- Advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing services and strategies.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program; BSc in Nursing required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience.
- At least 2 years of healthcare leadership experience.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
