About the role

Atlantic Health is seeking a highly motivated Pediatric Hospitalist to join their established program at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center and Hersh Children’s Center at Overlook Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in hospital medicine and be comfortable performing lumbar punctures. This position involves providing complex care for hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents without covering PICU or delivery rooms.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents
• Perform lumbar punctures as needed
• Teach residents and participate in sepsis and Quality Improvement (QI) Collaboratives
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Demonstrated success in individual and team settings

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians

Skills

• Strong interest in hospital medicine
• Comfortable performing lumbar punctures
• Excellent communication and teaching skills

Pay

$196,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives
