Pediatric Hospital Medicine Faculty Position
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Join our Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Baystate Children’s Hospital (BCH) in Springfield MA. BCH is a 107-bed facility which provides complete critical care programs including the region’s only PICU & Level III NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient services and our pediatric emergency room. Our pediatric outpatient specialty center offers 15 subspecialty clinics. The Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is a well-established and stable division that includes 13 physicians and 3 APPs, as well as our new PHM fellowship program.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient coverage for our 53-bed general pediatric and adolescent unit. All patients are covered residents or APPs.
- Coverage includes the well-baby newborn nursery service.
- We do not provide PICU, NICU or delivery room coverage.
- There is no in-house overnight call coverage required.
- Serve as a clinical educator for our pediatric residents, PHM fellows and medical students.
Qualifications
- ABMS BE/BC in Pediatrics.
- BE/BC in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred but not required.
Benefits

- Our compensation package consists of a base salary of between $185,500- $315,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications) and annual incentive bonus opportunities.
