Faculty position, Hospitalist Medicine Program
About the role
We are recruiting highly motivated individuals, committed to clinical excellence, to join our growing Hospitalist Medicine Program as a member of the clinical faculty. The rapidly expanding Hospitalist Medicine Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking Clinical Faculty to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Attend on the St. Jude chemotherapy service
- Perform staff consultations with fellows
- Treat patients in the inpatient and outpatient acute care setting
- Work with the nursing staff, advanced practice practitioners, primary oncologists, and subspecialty physicians to ensure quality clinical care for St. Jude patients
- Engage in clinical research, quality and patient safety initiatives, and clinical education
Requirements
- An MD (or equivalent) degree and be board certified/board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology
- Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee
- Maintain active unrestricted privileges at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
Qualifications
- Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The offered faculty rank will be determined based on the chosen candidate's qualifications.
