Faculty position, Hospitalist Medicine Program

About the role

We are recruiting highly motivated individuals, committed to clinical excellence, to join our growing Hospitalist Medicine Program as a member of the clinical faculty. The rapidly expanding Hospitalist Medicine Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking Clinical Faculty to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Attend on the St. Jude chemotherapy service
• Perform staff consultations with fellows
• Treat patients in the inpatient and outpatient acute care setting
• Work with the nursing staff, advanced practice practitioners, primary oncologists, and subspecialty physicians to ensure quality clinical care for St. Jude patients
• Engage in clinical research, quality and patient safety initiatives, and clinical education

Requirements

• An MD (or equivalent) degree and be board certified/board eligible in pediatric hematology/oncology
• Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee
• Maintain active unrestricted privileges at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The offered faculty rank will be determined based on the chosen candidate's qualifications.
