About the role

The Department of Pediatric Medicine at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a full-time, Clinical Faculty Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their growing team. This is a faculty-level position and is open to Assistant, Associate or Full Member (equivalent to Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor in a medical school setting).

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care of pediatric pulmonology patients being treated for hematologic, oncologic, and neurologic diagnoses at St. Jude: inpatient clinical care, inpatient consults; outpatient pulmonary clinic or follow-up care and consultation;
  • Procedures include bronchoscopy;
  • Partner with members of our Patient Care team, Critical Care team, other clinicians, and our Pulmonary Function lab to offer high-standard of care to patients;
  • Potential opportunity for cross-coverage at local general pediatric hospital.

Requirements

  • An MD (or equivalent) degree;
  • Board certification in pediatric pulmonology;
  • Completed pediatric pulmonology fellowship training;
  • Eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee;
  • Maintain active unrestricted privileges at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
