Pediatric Hospitalist- Faculty
About the Role
USA Health is recruiting for a faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama. This role involves providing inpatient care at USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital, the primary referral center for the region, as well as teaching medical students and residents.
Unique opportunities for program development, clinical research, and scholarly collaboration with clinical and laboratory research programs are available. The academic rank is open and will be determined based on the candidate's training, experience, and scholarly productivity.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care at USA Health Children's & Women's Hospital.
- Teach medical students and residents.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to manage a broad range of pediatric diseases.
- Engage in program development, clinical research, and scholarly collaboration.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Experience in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is desirable.
