About the role

The Division of Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW) is seeking a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Children’s Wisconsin hospital campus.

Responsibilities

  • Join a distinguished group of nationally and internationally recognized faculty and staff dedicated to exceptional clinical care.
  • Outstanding clinicians dedicated to the care of hospitalized children and their families.
  • Board-certified/board-eligible in General Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
  • Fellowship or advanced training preferred.
  • Obtain an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.
  • Schedule: 1,800 annual hours for day shifts; 1,440 annual hours for night shifts.
  • Approximately 15 weeks of service per year.
  • 90% clinical duties, 10% protected time.
  • Additional team support during peak seasons.
  • Admitting attending coverage Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts.
  • Salaried (Exempt).

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
