About the role

Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, in partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is recruiting a full-time pediatric hematology/oncology specialist to join Mercy Kids, a comprehensive children's hospital and the only pediatric cancer center within a three-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of two pediatric hematology/oncology physicians and two pediatric nurse practitioners
• Offer comprehensive resources and a stable practice opportunity
• Deliver a mix of oncology and hematology cases
• Participate in clinical trials, support, and research through partnership with St. Jude’s
• Work in a supportive environment with committed staff who have been with the team since its inception
• Lead a pediatric cancer center and clinic located inside the hospital
• Enjoy a guaranteed salary of $266,000 not dependent on RVUs, focusing on quality and patient experience

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Pediatrics and Hematology/Oncology
• Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology preferred
