Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist to join our growing, full-service Children’s Cancer Center.

About the role

The Children’s Cancer Center team includes pediatric hematologist-oncologist physicians and advanced practitioners, pediatric surgeons, pediatric oncology-certified nurses, radiation oncologists, pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric radiologists, social workers and a child life specialist. In addition to being a member of COG, we have state grants for sickle cell disease and a hemophilia treatment center.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to children with hematologic and oncologic disorders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Participate in clinical research initiatives
• Conduct consultations and provide expert opinions on complex cases
• Train and mentor fellows and residents
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs

Requirements

• Board Certification in Pediatrics and Hematology/Oncology
• Current Medical License in the state of practice
• Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology preferred

Qualifications

• Residency training in Pediatrics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
