About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Geneticist to join a clinical genetics team within the Department of Pediatrics at a top-ranked children's hospital. This role involves managing a patient caseload with 7 slots per day and 1-hour new patient appointments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to program development.

Responsibilities

• Subspecialize in neurogenetics, biochemical genetics, or precision medicine based on interests
• Manage patient caseload with 7 slots per day and 1-hour new patient appointments
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of genetic counselors, researchers, and clinical staff
• Participate in telehealth consultations and contribute to program development
• Provide expert care in a clinical setting

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Medical Genetics
• Expertise in pediatric or clinical genetics

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Ability to work in a small, collegial team environment
