Pediatric Echo Tech PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Pediatric Echo Tech PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of children in the north Houston communities.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients
• Interpret echocardiogram results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Provide compassionate and professional patient care

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate (RCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RVS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in echocardiography
• Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support
