About the role

The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children's Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at Children's Wisconsin hospital campus.

Responsibilities

  • Join a team including 35 fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists and a growing team of medically directed Anesthesiology Assistants and Certified Registered Nursing Assistants.
  • Engage in a busy practice that includes both OR as well as non-OR sites at CW’s Milwaukee Campus.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to perioperative team members to optimize patient care safety, quality, and efficiency of the perioperative setting.
  • Collaborate with world-class pediatric surgeons and medical staff with a range of complex cases.
  • Contribute to the clinical education of pedatric fellows, residents, medical students and other trainees.
  • Focus on a patient-centered approach to delivery of care and engage in a climate of inquiry and safety.
  • Participate in the academic, research and educational missions of the institution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin.
