Responsibilities

  • Teaching responsibilities including mentoring medical students, residents, chief residents, and fellows when applicable.
  • Participation in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
  • Serving on departmental or School of Medicine level committees as appropriate, and engaging in professional activities such as journal review and conference presentations.
  • Providing clinical care as a pediatric allergy and immunology physician for the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, serving both inpatient and outpatient arenas.

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Pediatrics/Internal Medicine.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Allergy and Immunology.
  • Experience with clinical care of patients.
  • Experience in an academic medical center.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

The central hub is at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU in downtown Richmond, with satellite locations and community clinics throughout Central Virginia.
