About the role

Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking an exceptional Quality Engineer to join our IC Operations-Quality team in the USA. Candidates will work alongside some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer. This is a full-time position reporting to the QA Director, offering a hybrid work environment with an average of at least three days per week onsite and two days remote.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer requirements review with various teams to ensure Rambus has the capability and capacity to support them.
  • Act as the main day-to-day contact for customers on issues and requirements, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers for timely resolution.
  • Provide support and coordination for customer quality surveys and audits of Rambus or its suppliers.
  • Manage and support the customer’s new product approval process and requirements.
  • Serve as the direct interface with suppliers to monitor and control supplier quality.
  • Manage the flow down of special requirements to suppliers and ensure consistent compliance.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits and periodic reviews, covering QMS and processes.
  • Drive supplier quality improvements through audits, reporting, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Engineering supporting customers and suppliers in the semiconductor industry.
  • Auditor certification (ISO 9001, Supplier Audit) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency with analytical and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups internally and externally.

Pay

The US salary range for this full-time position is $141,000 to $212,000. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

Schedule

Hybrid work environment with an expectation of at least three days per week onsite and two days remote.
