About the role

Part‑time Psychiatric Care Technician (PCT) – Direct Service Associate III – 2nd shift at Western State Hospital. Provides recovery‑oriented direct care under supervision of licensed nursing staff in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Support and motivate patients to engage in individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver treatment programs to individuals and groups with serious mental illnesses, substance abuse issues, and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Take clients’ vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
