About the role
The PCM is responsible for ensuring that good manufacturing practices are performed to produce a safe and high-quality product.
Responsibilities
- Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced; reporting any deficiencies that are found.
- Interpret and enforce good manufacturing practice (GMP), regulations, and procedures to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Maintain records that confirm good manufacturing practices are being implemented.
- Perform other duties as assigned at the request of the 2nd Processing Superintendent.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or
- One to three months of experience and/or training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
