Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 11pm-7am What Production Operation Contributes To Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Responsibilities The Process Inspector conducts quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defectsVisually inspects in-process/finished material while operating – informs designated teammates of any machine malfunction or defective product Accurately manages traceability information, production information, cleaning documentation, and safety check documentation in the company system with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approachStarts machines, observes for correct operation, adjusts, and starts general troubleshooting as neededMoves empty and full bags/totes/boxes to and from the machine, adds labels/weighs product/verifies count/adds to box/inserts into shipper as needed, and stacks onto palletPractices department’s medical manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as requiredRead, write, comprehend, and follow specifications, procedures, and instructions written in EnglishCollaborate effectively with team members, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive team environmentAssist with other duties as assigned with or without accommodationWork overtime as required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, preferred1+ years related work experience and/or training, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasksReadily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned areaMaintains appropriate licenses, training and certificationsWorks on routine assignments that require some problem resolutionWorks within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methodsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks under moderate degree of supervisionWork typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisorRefers complex unusual problems to supervisor Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.
