3rd Shift Inspector

Cardinal Staffing is partnered with a growing book publishing company seeking dependable warehouse associates to join their team.

About the role

This role is responsible for inspecting and packaging books and printed materials accurately and efficiently to ensure timely shipment to customers. Steel-toe shoes are required.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack books according to order invoices
• Prepare cartons for shipment and apply accurate shipping labels
• Inspect books for damage or print defects before packing
• Assemble boxes and organize packing materials
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking shelves
• Follow safety procedures and meet daily productivity goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

2nd shift (3p–11p) or 3rd shift (11p–7a), typically 5–6 days per week.

Pay

Starting pay rate of $16–$16.50 per hour, with an increase upon hire.
