PCBA Soldering Technician-2nd shift

About the role

Leidos’ Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking a PCBA Soldering Technician to join their team. The team produces a variety of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and solves the world’s toughest security challenges for customers with “can’t fail” missions.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering of surface mount and through-hole components on low, medium and high density printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Soldering/working under a microscope
• Rework of various electronic packages including resistors, capacitors, through-hole parts
• Work to achieve day-to-day objectives and have significant impact on the work output
• Work independently under limited supervision
• Work in team environment and interact with different functions, project teams, and production teams

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED and less than 2-4 years of prior relevant work experience
• Experience soldering under a microscope
• Ability to solder surface mount and through-hole components
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions
• US Citizen and eligible for a Secret Clearance
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the area

Qualifications

• Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610
• Current or prior certification in J-STD-001

Benefits

Pay Range: $35,100.00 - $63,450.00
