PCA Inpt Rehab

Responsibilities

• Order and stock unit supplies of all types needed for patient care.
• Locate shared equipment within the hospital.
• Timely and efficient completion of tasks for quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively and relate politely to patients, visitors and fellow staff members.
• Adhere to Borgess Medical Center mission, vision and values.
• Perform and assists with therapeutic and procedures.
• Observe and record pertinent information.
• Consult with and report significant reactions and changes in patient condition to the appropriate RN.
• Ensure that the patient’s pain is reported to a Licensed Nurse.
• Inventory and stock various equipment and supplies needed for patient care.

Requirements

• BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
• A minimum of six (6) months experience in direct patient care preferred.
