PC Technician Support, Intermediate
About the role
The Technology Services and Operations team supports all endpoint systems and technology. The Technical Support Specialist reports to the Supervisor of End Point Field Services. Responsibilities include assisting customers with computer issues, performing imaging and deployment tasks, documenting Service Now, and ensuring asset tracking system updates.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct installation, diagnostic, and problem resolution for all personal computers and related devices.
- Guide team members on testing, validating, and deploying operating system and application upgrades.
- Perform workstation provisioning tasks, including installation, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Install and configure Microsoft Windows applications using manual, stand-alone, and automated methods.
- Ensure assets are updated in Service Marketplace with correct state.
- Utilize tools and applications for remote workstation access, application installations, and security products.
- Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot workstation file and folder permissions.
- Provide guidance on Active Directory configurations and mobile device support.
- Support mobile devices, including iOS, Android, and Windows Phone operating systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support.
- Experience with Microsoft Client Operating Systems (Win11).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Cisco AnyConnect and security products.
- Experience with Active Directory and related services.
- Proficiency in custom reporting tools like JAMF, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and SCCM.
- Experience with iOS and Android mobile MDM/MAM managed devices.

Pay
The pay range for this role is $23.91 to $33.47 per hour in California and $26.95 to $37.73 per hour in the Bay Area.
Schedule
This role is full-time and requires on-site work in Redding, CA, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.
