We are looking for a PC Technician to support end-user technology needs in Phoenix, Arizona. This contract position focuses on maintaining computer hardware, preparing and configuring devices, and providing responsive deskside assistance across Microsoft-based environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for desktop and laptop issues, resolving hardware, software, and peripheral problems for end users.
- Set up, image, configure, and deploy computer systems and related equipment in accordance with organizational standards.
- Diagnose operating system performance issues and restore devices to proper working order through effective troubleshooting and repair.
- Manage user account support tasks within Active Directory, including access updates, basic account maintenance, and workstation connectivity assistance.
- Install, update, and support Microsoft applications and workstation configurations to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
- Assist with network-related troubleshooting by identifying connectivity problems and coordinating resolution for local devices and user workstations.
- Maintain accurate records for asset assignments, device configurations, service activity, and deployment status.
- Support specialized hardware environments, including systems associated with EO/IR technology, while following established technical procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting PC hardware, desktop deployments, and deskside technical services.
- Working knowledge of Dell Technologies systems and components in a corporate or technical support setting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems, common business applications, and endpoint configuration practices.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as IP connectivity, device communication, and basic troubleshooting methods.
- Experience performing support tasks in Active Directory, including user and workstation administration.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve operating system, software, and hardware issues with minimal supervision.
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills for tracking support activity and assisting end users.
