PC Technician

About the Role

Provide desktop and help desk support for SOMTC classrooms, including support for Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) environments. Ensure systems meet security, configuration, and operational standards while assisting SOMTC staff in maintaining a reliable, secure, and mission-ready IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, software, and peripheral issues.
• Document support actions and update incident/ticketing systems.
• Configure and validate workstations to meet operational and security requirements.
• Support interoperability of Army/Joint Mission Command systems in an Enterprise IT environment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in an IT-related field or 4 years of professional experience.
• DCWF Client Systems Technician (411) at Basic level.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Understanding of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and IT security practices.
• Familiarity with physical IT components, architecture, and system operation/maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ability to document and query incidents in ticketing systems.

Active SECRET clearance required.
