PBX - Telephone Operator (Full Time)

About the role

Be part of our team as a PBX Telephone Operator at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas. Located in Greater Palm Springs, Grand Hyatt features 531 newly transformed luxury guestrooms, suites, casita-style villas, and two brand new Celebrity Chef food & beverage venues. This individual is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude, and excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Telephone Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls and should be comfortable answering questions relating to the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls to the resort efficiently and professionally.
• Handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a pleasant attitude.
• Answer guest questions relating to the hotel and its services.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on factors such as experience and education.
