Job Description
Answers incoming calls, relays emergency messages, contacts personnel as necessary, directs them where they are needed, and reports any telephone problems.
Essential Functions
- Answers incoming calls and directs them to the appropriate department or person.
- Places outgoing calls as requested by employees and management.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all calls made and received.
- Greets visitors and directs them to the appropriate area or person.
- Provides general information to callers and visitors as needed.
- Affords assistance in training and onboarding new staff.
Education Requirement
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

- Knowledge of medical terminology.

Experience
Six months of experience as PBX operator or one year of experience with multi-line phones, preferred.
