About the role
Under the direct supervision of the PBX Supervisor, the PBX Operator operates the telephone switchboard to relay incoming and outgoing calls and performs miscellaneous hospital communications and clerical duties. Responsibilities include alarm monitoring, initiating call codes according to policy, and paging various physicians and hospital personnel.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One to two years of hospital experience or comparable PBX/Cashier experience preferred
