PBX Shag Driver - B Shift

B shift position running up to 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday.

About the role

Shag Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of Tyson shag trucks and customer trailers while following all plant policies and procedures. Drivers must keep the shag truck clean at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate shag trucks and customer trailers safely and efficiently
• Follow all plant policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean shag truck at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers via radio to receive work orders
• Relay information to co-workers and report issues to management
• Complete daily paperwork
• Perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• Dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• Willing to work early or late as needed
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 6 months experience driving heavy equipment or trucks preferred
• Valid driver’s license (Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed)
• At least 18 years of age
• No DWI or DUI convictions in the last 12 months
• Must provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
• Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment
