PBX Operator - Per Diem Variable

About the Role

Operates telecommunications console in placing, receiving and relaying calls. Answers all incoming calls for Physicians Answering Service and follows each physician's procedure. Performs paging, code announcements and other duties in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Place, receive, and relay calls via telecommunications console
• Answer all incoming calls for Physicians Answering Service
• Follow each physician's specific procedure for call handling
• Perform paging and code announcements
• Complete other duties in accordance with approved policies and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital or large business switchboard experience

Pay

Base pay range: $20.00 - $26.85 per hour. Placement within this range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
