About the role
A large corporation in the San Gabriel area is seeking a Payroll Tax Supervisor for a long‑term contract, hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Handle payroll tax filings
- Manage payroll tax identification numbers
- Conduct payroll tax audits (e.g., state unemployment)
- Perform payroll tax case reviews
- Maintain acquisition ID numbers
- Perform payroll reconciliation
- Prepare workpapers for audits
- Prepare payroll tax for various subsidiaries and company codes
- Conduct ad hoc reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (preferred)
- At least six years of payroll and payroll tax experience with a large corporation
Skills
- ADP and Smart Compliance (required)
- ADP Vantage (extremely preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
Pay
$55 – $60 per hour
