What You'll Be Doing
- Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now or a comparable payroll platform.
- Review, validate, and import timekeeping data, including PTO and leave balances.
- Ensure payroll transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable regulations.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, deductions, garnishments, and compensation-related questions.
- Aid with unemployment claims, disability claims, tax-related requests, and other payroll compliance matters.
- Generate payroll-related reports and support year-end processes, audits, and regulatory filings.
- Reissue payroll payments when necessary and assist with final pay processing.
- Provide administrative and accounting support, including expense reporting, reconciliations, and occasional accounts payable backup.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience combined with general accounting knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar payroll system.
- Multi-state payroll experience is highly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Preferred Education
An associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and professional experience.
