Position Overview
Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks relating to the processing of payroll functions. These services will be delivered in a quality fashion consistent with the position's segments and standards.
About the Role
Performs daily operational payroll tasks and provides support to Payroll leadership and UHS employee inquiries.
Responsibilities
- Processes payroll transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Supports Payroll leadership with administrative tasks and reports.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of customer service/clerical experience.
Qualifications
- A.A.S. Degree preferred.
- 1 year experience in payroll related functions.
- Formal payroll, bookkeeping or accounting education preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay
$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
