Payroll Specialist
Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time while maintaining organized records.
- Manage weekly prevailing wage payroll, ensuring pay rates are accurate.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for projects with wage compliance requirements.
- Use payroll software to enter, review, and validate payroll data, resolving discrepancies before final processing.
- Review time, pay, deductions, and adjustments to ensure accurate payroll and compliance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience handling full-cycle payroll processing.
- Experience handling certified payroll and compliance reporting.
- Working knowledge of prevailing wage payroll requirements in a project-driven environment.
- Proficiency with payroll software for payroll processing and payroll record management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a dependable, organized work style.
