Payroll Resource

The organization operates within the post-acute care industry, providing comprehensive back-office support services to over 378 long-term care facilities employing more than 55,000 staff. Its services include accounting, compliance, human resources, information technology, legal and risk management, and recruiting. This allows onsite leaders and caregivers to focus on direct care and operational management while administrative functions are handled centrally.The Payroll Resource role supports payroll operations for multiple affiliated companies across several states within skilled nursing and assisted living markets. This position serves as a key liaison, providing guidance and communication to field operations executives and HR/payroll representatives while ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing and supporting related HR and benefits functions.• Provide support, guidance, and communication to field HR and payroll representatives.• Oversee payroll functions for assigned affiliated companies across multiple states.• Build relationships with field leadership and internal HR, Benefits, Payroll, and IT teams.• Provide professional customer service regarding payroll policies and procedures.• Assist with payroll inquiries involving timecards, payroll statements, tax elections, payments, and tax documents.• Coordinate shift differentials and incentive pay programs.• Support payroll reporting and administration of payroll control documents.• Research and resolve pay-period banking exceptions and garnishment adjustments.• Perform payroll audits and reconciliations and ensure timely completion of payroll controls.• Assist in training new or backup HR payroll representatives.• Process on-demand off-cycle check requests and payroll input adjustments.• Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.• Complete special projects as assigned.Requirements:• Minimum of 1 year payroll support or processing experience.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask effectively.• Associate degree or higher preferred.Pay Range and Compensation Package:• Hourly rate: $20.00 to $30.00, depending on experience.• Eligibility for bonus.
