What you’ll do as Payroll Coordinator:
- Process certified payrolls
- Workers Compensation – make payments to the workers comp agencies and compliance with annual audits
- Develop in depth understanding of Payroll Database to be able to create AdHoc reports on demand
- Interprets company policies and government regulations in connection with payroll procedures
- Transmit biweekly payroll to ADP
- Balance biweekly payroll and prepare the payroll journal
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
- FPC or CPP designation preferred
- 5+ years of corporate payroll experience
- Strong PC skills, including high proficiency in MS Excel
- ADP payroll software experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various levels of staff and management
