(TM Supply) has been one of the largest distributors of natural stone slab and tile, quartz surfacing, and a manufacturer of poured-in-place terrazzo and resinous flooring. As a 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED company, we believe that the cornerstone of success is our employee-owners’ teamwork and dedication. TM Supply is currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator. This full-time role provides administrative support to the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company.
Responsibilities
- Promotes positive employee relations by designing, communicating, and interpreting human resources policies and programs.
- Helps build and sustain a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Captures and processes payroll for all company locations and schedules.
- Processes compensation changes, promotions, bonuses, and incentive programs.
- Inputs new hires and coordinates onboarding training with their supervisor.
- Captures and coordinates the off-boarding process and communication of findings to management.
- Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of payroll items, including all employee earnings and deduction codes.
- Responds to inquiries regarding payroll policies, check details, payroll procedures, and incentive programs.
- Manages and updates the benefits deduction changes.
- Maintains and updates the employee’s electronic documents.
- Performs payroll processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly.
- Updates payroll for FMLA, medical leaves, and workers' compensation.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Achieved an Associate's degree or equivalent, or one to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge and experience with payroll systems and processing.
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific methods.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
- Proficient in document management, payroll systems, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment and the ability to make timely, sound decisions.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $60,000, potential to earn a yearly bonus, depending on company and individual performance.
- Three weeks of Paid Time Off for a beginning year, growing to five weeks with longevity.
